Enjoy the charms of days gone by

Founders Heritage Park you will experience life as it was in Nelson in the 1880s to 1930s. Stroll through the character streets, tranquil established gardens and charming village greens.

During the summer months take a ride on the train, meet resident artists working in ceramics, wrought iron, stone jewellery and the ancient art of cooperage.

Large public events including quarterly Craft Beer Festivals, March Fest, Festival of Opportunities and Queen's Birthday Book Fair are also held at Founders Park each year.
