Where we are located:

Kingsland Court Motel is located only three minutes walk to beautiful Tahunanui Beach and is surrounded by up to ten restaurants. Kingsland Court Motel is also only a few minutes drive from Nelson Airport and Nelson City centre and other Nelson Attractions as well as being your gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park.

DIRECTIONS:

NORTH (from Christchurch / West Coast) -Coming along State Highway 6 past Richmond take the Tahunanui Turn Off into Annesbrook Road, this road turns into Tahunanui Drive, Kingsland Court Motel is situated on the left hand side of road approx 200m from the beach. (If you have come to McDonalds you have passed us)

SOUTH (from Picton/Blenheim) - Come along State Highway 6 as you drive past Nelson City towards Richmond via Port Drive and Rocks Road (Along Seafront) Kingsland Court Motel is located 200m south of beach on Tahunanui Drive on the right hand side of the road. (Just Past McDonalds)

Background

Your Hosts originally from South Wales in the UK emigrated to Australia in 1973, settling in Brisbane.  Whilst living in Brisbane they travelled extensively throughout the South Pacific Region and with our backgrounds in dealing with people, we decided to embark on a career change into Hospitality.

After looking at numerous options and our love for New Zealand (NZ) we finally decided to purchase a motel in Nelson. 

Since making that move we have been enchanted with the region and all the activities and scenery that Nelson/Tasman has to offer. 

Our aim and philosophy is to treat our guests as we would like to be treated ourselves and to make your stay in Nelson an enjoyable one.

Apart from giving local advise on attractions and things to do we are more than happy to share our knowledge of New Zealands South Island. We have supplied some of our guests with itineraries for the entire South Island. (eg Accommodation, Tourist Attractions, Things to see & Do etc.)
